How it works

01

You fill in a brief

A short onboarding form covering your goals, audience, and timeline. No calls required — just clear answers that let me hit the ground running.

02

I propose

A clear scope, timeline, and price. No surprises, no hidden costs. You know exactly what you’re getting before we start.

03

We build together

You stay involved without being overwhelmed. Regular check-ins, your feedback at the right moments — I handle the complexity.

04

You launch — and I stay

I’m available after go-live. Most clients are still with me years later — updates, new features, ongoing strategy.

About Me

Before web development I worked as a press photographer and digital assets management consultant. I've lived and worked in France, the UK, Africa, Asia and elsewhere. Based in New York City since 2004.

I've worked closely with professional cycling teams, athletes, and race organizers to build websites that help them attract participants, manage events, and communicate effectively.

I'm bilingual in English and French.

“Again, really impressed with the site, and very excited to have this set up.”

“This looks spectacular! I love it.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you charge?

I charge a fixed price for each project, based on its scope — no surprises, no hourly billing. I ask for 50% to start and the balance on delivery. I expect you'll want to make some adjustments along the way — that's included in the project. Each project is different, so get in touch with some details and I'll give you a clear idea of cost.

How long does a project usually take?

Most projects take 4-8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the site and the design process. Content can be added afterward at your own pace. I'll outline a timeline at the start so you know what to expect.

I already have a website. Can you help with just one thing?

Absolutely. Whether it's a bug, a security issue, something that needs updating, or a feature you want added, I can handle one-off jobs. Many clients started with a single request and we've been working together ever since.

Do you provide ongoing support after launch?

I don't disappear. After launch I'm available for questions, small changes, and ongoing support. Many of my clients keep me on for regular maintenance and updates. I become their reliable web person, so they can focus on running their business, knowing their website is always well-maintained and performing at its best.

Will my website be easy for me to manage?

Absolutely. I will build you a custom admin interface that allows you to manage your site yourself. It will be user-friendly but if needed I'll show you how to use it.

How involved do I need to be in the technical side?

You can be as hands-on as you like. I take care of the technical decisions, or we can review them together if you want more insight into how your site works.

Can you help with hosting?

Yes. I can set up and manage hosting so you don't have to worry about it — fast servers, daily backups, security, a staging site for testing changes, and global content delivery. I'll handle domain setup and move your existing site over if needed.

What does 9W stand for?

Route 9W runs north from the north-west corner of Manhattan. It is the gateway to all the best cycling in the region.
